Client Overview
Our client is a Middle East–based confectionery manufacturer with multi-SKU production and regional
distribution. The Finance MIS Specialist will support the client’s leadership by designing and
delivering robust management information systems and reports covering finance, sales, production and
inventory.
Role Summary
The Finance MIS Specialist is responsible for collecting, consolidating and analysing data from multiple
systems (ERP, sales, production, finance) and producing accurate, timely MIS reports and dashboards for
management. The role focuses on performance tracking, variance analysis and KPI monitoring for the
confectionery business.
Key Responsibilities
MIS Design & Reporting
- Develop, maintain and automate daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports covering sales, production, inventory,
costs, receivables, payables and key KPIs.
- Consolidate data from ERP, Excel and other operational systems; ensure data accuracy, consistency and
completeness before reporting.
- Build dashboards and analytical views (e.g., product-wise, geography-wise, channel-wise profitability and
volume trends) using advanced Excel and/or BI tools.
Financial & Operational Analytics
- Prepare budget vs. actual, plan vs. forecast and period-on-period variance analyses, highlighting key
drivers and actionable insights.
- Track and report key confectionery manufacturing metrics such as yield, wastage, capacity utilisation,
order fill rate and on-time delivery performance (using client data).
- Support management in pricing, promotion and product-mix analysis by providing structured data and
scenario-based reports.
Data Management & Process Improvement
- Maintain master data and reporting templates, ensuring version control and alignment with client chart of
accounts, cost centres and product hierarchies.
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in data capture and reporting processes and propose/implement
improvements in coordination with finance, operations and IT.
- Ensure data integrity, backup and basic security protocols for MIS files and reports handled within Addsup
Consulting.
Stakeholder Support & Coordination
- Work closely with the client’s finance, sales, production and supply chain teams to understand
information needs and refine MIS outputs
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and reports for management reviews, board meetings and strategy discussions as
required.
- Support user training for new reports/dashboards and handhold client team members on using MIS outputs
effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Statistics, Information Systems or related field;
additional qualifications in data analytics/BI will be an advantage.
- 3–5 years of experience in MIS/Business Analytics/Reporting roles, preferably supporting
finance/operations in manufacturing or FMCG.
- Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, Power Query, etc.); exposure to SQL or BI
tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.
- Experience working with ERP data and financial/operational KPIs.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into clear, actionable
insights.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and report preparation.
- Good understanding of financial statements and basic cost/management accounting concepts.
- Effective communication skills to present findings to finance and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines and ad-hoc requests in a fast-paced environment.
Work Location & Reporting
- Location: Addsup Consulting Pvt Ltd office (India) – servicing a Middle East-based confectionery
manufacturing client.
- Reporting To: Manager – MIS & Analytics (Addsup Consulting) with functional reporting to the
Client Finance/Business Head.
